Welcome Home SSGT. Adam Rosemeyer, U.S.A.F.
POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER !!!!!
Cookstown, New Jersey
More info TBA
We'll gather together and roll as one to our Hero's home to show appreciation and bestow honor to this returning warrior. Our Hero will be in good company, a handful of returning warriors will be joining him and his wife for a beverage or two. We've been invited to stop in and say hi.
An email from his wife~
My husband is currently serving overseas in his 2nd deployment, this time to the UAE. He is a SSGT with the USAF and is a KC-10 engine mechanic. He is due home on or after January 5, 2010. I do realize there may be snow on the ground so a motorcycle escort would not be possible, he is flying into the PAX terminal on McGuire AFB and we live in base housing - so an escort really wouldn't be much of one. But, I would be VERY interested in a mug and hug. But at the present moment, I do not have a location in mind. My husband is a very modest person, a very proud and humble man - but as his wife, I am just so proud of the work he does and he deserves recognition for what he does. I KNOW that even a handshake would mean THE WORLD to him - from someone thanking him for the work he does on a day to day basis. He tells me, a lot actually, that his brothers are the real heroes (his 2 younger brothers are gunners in the USMC). However, if it weren't for men like my husband that fixed these planes - who would? Aircraft needs to be refueled mid flight to complete their missions and because of my husband, planes that break - get fixed. This is our 2nd base, prior to this, he was stationed at Ramstein AFB, Germany where he worked as a C-130 propeller mechanic. If someone could please contact me, tell me if its possible for a mug and hug in the beginning to mid January time frame, I would so appreciate it! My kids cannot wait to see their Daddy and this would be the perfect way to welcome him home.

Kevin Graduated from BCTHS in 2008 he received is EMT License when he was in 11th grade and his Fire Fighter License in 12th Grade. For years Kevin was in the Civil Air Patrol with his younger sister. He really enjoyed everything about that adventure. Kevin has always wanted to go into the military and become a sniper. That was his focus in life so he started training in Ju Jitsu he wanted to be ready for the military. Kevin Trained Under Master Tom McGonigal, Tommy is a huge part of my sons life he is a mentor and good friend Tom helped Kevin go to Brazil Kevin trained there for 3 months and also won a competition there 2nd place. After he graduated High School he left for the Marines in November 2008. In boot camp Kevin received a medal for expert on the rifle range and did wonderful. When I found out I just was so proud of my son. Its funny when I told one of my friends how well Kevin was doing they said what did you except he was raised my drill sergeant. (A joke between my friends and I. no I was never in the military I guess I missed my calling) My son has been so driven since he was little never loosing focus on what he wanted to do and never let anything get in his way. I have raised a wonderful child who is now a great man and my hero. My son Kevin has been a blessing to raise Kevin is my middle child he has two sisters Carina & Arielle. They are so proud of there brother.
