Posting on the Forum is a very important part of the welcome-home experience for not only our members but the hero and their family as well.

When we're planning a welcome home, we direct the family to our forum and our website to to read the comments and well wishes of our members about the person returning.

Lately we have seen a decline in posting comments and I would urge you to please try and just say a little something in the mission thread, even if you can't attend the mission.

In comparison to Facebook, our forum is a Consolidated area that the family and hero can look and read the comments when the mission is complete.

Thank you again for all you do for our troops!

I"d like to take this opportunity to say Thank you to Chrisy, Sal and Tug (I hope he hears me) for all the work you put into this creating the forum for A Hero's Welcome. I don't see the members utilizing it enough to keep it running. We will continue to post info on our website www.aheros-welcome.org, send out emails, post info on our FaceBook pages and send out twitter notices about upcoming events. Please pass the word that our A Hero's Welcome forum will be de-activated by Nov. 1, 2017. If you have any info, private messages, etc. saved in your profile, please copy them to another device as they will be deleted and non recoverable.
Again, A Hero's Welcome forum will be de-activated by Nov. 1, 2017.
