Kathleen and Craig, from Vets Journey Home, has reached out to A Hero's Welcome to join them in honoring the Veterans who will be completing the VJH retreat.

A Hero's Welcome is honored and humbled to be a part of this very important moment in the lives of the Veterans participating in VJH. It is a time of healing, renewal, and a fresh start and we, of course, will be there for these heroes.

The Vets Journey home retreat is a weekend of honoring and healing for Veterans, both combat and non-combat Veterans.
Each weekend retreat culminates in a Graduation ceremony and celebration honoring each Veteran participant.

We love participating in this portion of the retreat. A Hero's Welcome presents the Veterans with our certificates of appreciation, the MSAWI Stars for our Troops and then, the honorees walk to their graduation. It's a weekend of healing in so many aspects. Each Veteran gets something personal out of it that they will carry with them forever. We are very grateful that we can be a part of this healing.

Please consider attending this mission if you haven't yet, it's heartwarming!!!

Can't wait to honor these Veterans!

"Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere
who bravely bears his country's cause.
Honor, also, to the citizen who cares
for his brother in the field and serves,
as best he can, the same cause."
-- Abraham Lincoln
