THIS IS A MISSION THAT WAS POSTED DURING SUMMER AND PLANS DIDN’T WORK OUT SO IT WAS A STAND DOWN. OUR HERO IS COMING HOME THIS WEEKEND AND WE ARE ON TO WELCOME HIM HOME.
We received a request in May to welcome home and escort Army Pfc BJ Lee home after serving our country in Afghanistan.
The original request came in from BJ’s Aunt Bonita. See below;
My sister-in law’s son ,B.J.Lee is due home from his first tour in Afghanistan in August before being deployed out again to somewhere.
Although he knows his mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and successfully just completed radiation ,this will be the first time he has seen her. I read about service men and women who come home and can’t make. I see what you do on the News.I respect your Vision and Mission Statements.
Mom Terry is doing ok and has taken over as the family contact.
